MAGA Candidate Jailed For Threatening Black Teenager

Jake Lang, a Republican candidate for Florida’s U.S. Senate seat with a history of racist and antisemitic rhetoric, has been jailed on a $1 million bond for allegedly making terroristic threats against a Black teenager. Lang was arrested after reportedly threatening to “take care of it himself” if a jury did not find the teen guilty of stabbing another individual. This latest charge follows a prior arrest for criminal trespass at a rally where Lang expressed white supremacist views and had previously thrown a Nazi salute at a protest. Lang has also been previously incarcerated for his involvement in the January 6, 2021 Capitol riots.
