The sheer desperation displayed by some individuals to twist a simple, self-deprecating comment into some sort of scandal is both hilarious and concerning. The fact that Ben Shapiro, a supposed conservative intellectual, and others lost their minds over this completely forgettable quip speaks volumes about the fragility of their egos.

In fact, it’s a humorous acknowledgement of a culinary reality that many of us are familiar with.
