The recent news surrounding Olympic officials trying to silence U.S. probes of China doping while simultaneously threatening the Salt Lake Games is truly a display of corruption at its finest. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) demanding that officials in Utah sign a contract affirming “respect” for the authority of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in exchange for holding the 2034 Winter Games in Salt Lake City is a blatant attempt to sweep allegations under the rug for the sake of money.
