Spider-Man of Yemen Dies in Volcanic Crater Fall
The adventurous climber, known on social media as “The Spider-Man of Yemen,” died after falling into the Hardah Dam volcanic crater. Authorities confirmed Al-Qaqa Ibn Antar, 30, lost his grip while scaling the steep, unprotected rock faces of the crater on Friday. Rescue teams retrieved his body from a depth of 30 meters within the crater’s hot, sulfurous lake.
