The sheer brazenness with which an ex-politician accused of killing a Vegas reporter claims that he would have won re-election if the victim hadn’t published damaging pieces is truly mind-boggling. Blaming the victim for your own murderous actions while on trial for their death is a new low that I never thought any sane person could reach.
