Poll Ranks Biden as 14th-Best President, With Trump Last
As I perused through the results of the recent poll ranking the presidents, I couldn’t help but be struck by the placement of Joe Biden as the 14th-best president and, perhaps unsurprisingly, Donald Trump at the very bottom of the list. The disparity between the two leaves one wondering how we got to a point where such juxtaposition could even be a possibility. Reflecting on Trump’s tumultuous time in office, it’s clear that his actions were divisive, destructive, and detrimental to the very fabric of our democracy. From his mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic to his perpetuation of falsehoods and lies, it’s no wonder that historians and political science scholars would rank him as the least effective president.… Continue reading
