Trump appears to mix up Pelosi, Haley while speaking about Jan. 6

As I watched the latest debacle unfold, I couldn’t help but think – how has it come to this? Former president Donald Trump speaking publicly and appearing to confuse the roles of two prominent women politicians – he suggested Nikki Haley was in charge on January 6, the day the U.S Capitol was stormed; a responsibility that fell under Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s purview. The cognitive decline seemingly implied by this mix-up is deeply concerning, bordering on alarming as it perhaps signifies the initial stages of degeneration.

Trump White House records are now in the hands of Jan 6 committee

It’s an absolute travesty they were able to delay this for as long as they did and it had to involve the Supreme Court to issue a ruling your average joe could have figured out.

SC never ruled on the merits per se, they just blocked a stay of the lower courts ruling, in effect not taking up the case. The lower court had essentially issued a scathing opinion that who is Trump to try and exert Executive privilege opposite to that of the current Executive branch. Roberts agreed at its ridiculousness. Trump never stood a chance and it only took a few months overall, which is lightning quick.… Continue reading

US election: Biden event in Texas cancelled as ‘armed’ Trump supporters threaten campaign bus

To the many of us who have been paying attention none of these fascist tactics come as a surprise. President Trump’s words & actions over the summer months were horrifying. He has incited and supported violence several times.

  1. He shared a video that said “the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.”[1]
  2. He tweeted a video of a Trump supporter yelling “White power.”[2]
  3. He tweeted that “when the looting starts the shooting starts.”[3] A saying that is historically tied to a racist Miami police chief from the 60’s.[4]
  4. Police in Washington, D.C. brutally dispersed an entirely peaceful crowd exercising their first amendment.
