Iran Warns Vance of Kushner Witkoff Negotiation Abuse
During recent U.S.-Iran talks in Switzerland, Iran conveyed through an intermediary to Vice President JD Vance that the continued involvement of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner would jeopardize the prospect of a lasting deal. Iranian negotiators reportedly believe Witkoff and Kushner are exploiting insider knowledge for financial gain and leaking information to Israeli officials, concerns previously raised through other channels. Iran also sent written documentation as evidence of alleged market manipulation by individuals close to President Trump, seeking a share of the purported profits. While Iran expressed confidence that Vance received the message, the Vice President’s office and the White House have denied its transmission and disputed the allegations.
