Mike Johnson, the epitome of a spineless weasel, found himself cornered in an intense White House meeting, where his hypocrisy and incompetence were laid bare for all to see. Despite claiming to work in good faith, House Republicans, led by Johnson, have done nothing but obstruct progress and sabotage bipartisan deals for their own political gain. President Donald Trump Signs COVID Relief Bill

President Trump signed a bill to extend unemployment benefits and avert a government shutdown, the White House said in an emailed statement Sunday evening. While Trump signed the current bill providing for $600 checks for most Americans hours before a midnight government shutdown deadline, he will continue his push to bring that amount to $2,000, according to two sources familiar with the planning.

Trump’s delay in signing the $900 billion coronavirus relief bill and $1.4 trillion government funding measure caused unemployment benefits for millions of Americans to lapse overnight.
