Uganda Ebola Outbreak: Nurse Dies Amidst WHO Disengagement Concerns

Uganda is battling a new outbreak of Sudan Ebola virus disease (SUDV), a highly lethal hemorrhagic fever with no approved vaccine. A nurse, who sought care at multiple facilities before diagnosis, died from the disease, prompting contact tracing of 44 individuals, including 30 healthcare workers.
