The news of a woman’s feet being amputated after allegedly being shoved in front of a NYC train by her boyfriend is both heartbreaking and enraging. It is a stark reminder of the consequences of unchecked anger and violence. The fact that no arrests have been made yet is utterly shocking. The perpetrator of this heinous act should face severe consequences, regardless of whether the woman decides to press charges or not. This was a deliberate and malicious attempt to harm someone, and it should be treated as such.
