Florida’s CFO, Jimmy Patronis, has proposed that the state pay former President Donald Trump’s legal fees. As a Floridian, I find this decision deeply concerning and disappointing. It highlights the special brand of socialism that Republicans seem to embrace when it benefits their chosen few.
What makes this proposal even more alarming is the fact that Florida is already facing numerous challenges when it comes to serving its citizens.
