Arthur Blank Foundation Donates $50 Million to Support Atlanta HBCU Students

Blank Family Foundation is donating $50 million to Atlanta’s historically Black colleges and universities to provide gap scholarships for nearly 10,000 students nearing graduation. The funds will support Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morris Brown College, and Spelman College. This 10-year commitment aims to raise graduation rates, building upon the foundation’s history of significant philanthropic contributions, which have exceeded $1.5 billion, to various institutions and initiatives. This marks the foundation’s largest donation to HBCUs in Georgia, and it comes as these institutions contribute significantly to the region’s economic impact.
