Taiwan Renames ‘Korea’ to ‘South Korea’ in Protest Against Seoul’s Labeling

In a reciprocal move, Taiwan has officially renamed “Korea” to “South Korea” within its immigration systems, effective March 1st. This action follows South Korea’s continued listing of Taiwan as “China (Taiwan)” on its e-arrivals, despite Taiwan’s repeated requests for correction.
