Temple Israel Attacker Dead After Vehicle Ramming and Explosives Found
Authorities responded to an incident at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield after an armed suspect rammed a vehicle into the building. The suspect engaged in a gunfire exchange with temple security and was found deceased in the vehicle, which was partially involved in a fire. While a member of the temple’s security team was injured by the vehicle, no children or staff were harmed. Law enforcement agencies are increasing security at other places of worship in the area as a precautionary measure.
