Season 2 will follow Gi-hun, the protagonist, as he navigates the physical and emotional consequences of his experiences in the first season, ultimately leading him back into the games to stop them. The story will conclude with a third and final season, which Hwang believes will provide a satisfying end to the overarching narrative and Gi-hun’s character arc.
