As I sit down to contemplate the sentencing of the US woman who stole Ashley Biden’s diary and the consequent one-month prison term she received, I can’t help but feel a sense of irony and injustice lingering in the air. The fact that the woman attempted to sell the stolen diary to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, only to be rejected and then resort to approaching Project Veritas, is a testament to the lengths people would go to for personal gain or political motives.
