Spain to Pay €2.5 Million to Man Wrongfully Jailed 15 Years for Rapes

It’s quite astonishing to learn about the case of Ahmed Tommouhi, a man who spent a staggering 15 years in prison for crimes he didn’t commit, and how the Spanish Supreme Court has now ordered Spain to pay him €2.5 million in compensation. This news, to put it mildly, is deeply unsettling and raises so many questions about justice, accountability, and the immense human cost of wrongful convictions.
