The impeachment follows President Yoon’s controversial declaration and subsequent swift revocation of martial law, a decision made amidst intense domestic political turmoil. Should the impeachment bill pass, the Constitutional Court will review the matter. The opposition has also demanded President Yoon’s resignation. This action comes after accusations of harsh leadership from both opposition and members of his own party.
