The recent news of troops raiding Gaza’s Shifa hospital and killing a senior Hamas commander has sparked a mix of feelings and thoughts within me. On one hand, it is shocking to think of a hospital being used as a command center for a terrorist organization like Hamas. The thought of patients seeking medical care being surrounded by individuals plotting violence and destruction is truly disturbing.
The fact that Hamas and Islamic Jihad admitted to launching mortar shells from the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Complex towards Israeli soldiers only solidifies the notion that these terrorist groups do not value human life, not even the lives of those seeking medical treatment in a hospital setting.… Continue reading
