Sam Alito Clearly Thinks He’s Untouchable. And the sad reality is, he just might be. The idea of an untouchable Supreme Court justice is a frightening one, especially when that justice seems to operate with a clear disregard for the very laws they are meant to uphold. Republicans have shown time and time again that they will protect their own, no matter the cost to democracy or the integrity of the judicial system.

Sam Alito thinks we’re all stupid. And honestly, it’s hard to argue with that sentiment. The man seems to exude an air of superiority, believing himself to be smarter than the rest of us mere mortals. But why does he think this way? Is it because of his position on the court, which he likely views as a stamp of intelligence and authority? Or is it simply because he’s been enabled and shielded from accountability for far too long?
