Ukrainian Forces Thwart Russian Flag Stunt, Eliminate Sabotage Group
A Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group attempted to stage a propaganda video in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi by bringing a Russian flag, intending to falsely display control and demoralize the local population and Ukrainian forces. Ukrainian soldiers of the 43rd Mechanized Brigade intercepted and eliminated the group, revealing the Russians’ attempts to mask battlefield losses and sow doubt. The captured flag, bearing a misspelled name of the 153rd Tank Regiment, indicated the unit was forced to undertake this unusual mission due to resource limitations.
