The recent revelation that Alexander Smirnov, the star witness in the Republicans’ crusade against Hunter Biden, has ties to Russian intelligence is truly an epic disaster. It’s almost laughable how the GOP continuously falls for false information and baseless claims, only to have it blow up in their faces time and time again. James Comer’s investigations claiming to have damning evidence that never materializes, the constant stream of lies and misinformation spread by the likes of Fox News, and the sheer incompetence displayed by these so-called leaders is truly pathetic.
