Ukraine Kills FSB Agents Tied to SSU Colonel Murder
In a recent operation, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) eliminated a Russian agent-combat group responsible for the assassination of SSU Colonel Ivan Voronych in Kyiv. The operation, led by SSU Chief Vasyl Maliuk, followed an investigation that identified a man and woman as the perpetrators, acting under the direction of the FSB. The agents, who had been tracking the officer and received a weapon cache, were located in Kyiv Oblast after the murder. On July 13th, during the special operation to apprehend them, the agents resisted, resulting in an exchange of fire and their subsequent elimination.
