As I read through various comments and opinions on the conflict in Ukraine, I can’t help but feel frustrated with the lack of action and support from the Western countries. President Zelenskyy’s recent statement about the stalemate in the ground war and the need for modern equipment resonates deeply with me.
It’s disheartening to see how Ukraine, a country fighting against terrorists with one of the largest armies in the world, is struggling to secure the necessary resources to defend itself. The shortage of ammunition is just one aspect of the problem; they also need modern equipment to level the playing field.… Continue reading
As a Ukrainian, I can’t help but feel a sense of disbelief and disappointment upon hearing the news that President Zelenskyy is considering replacing Ukraine’s top military commander, Zaluzhnyi. It’s an odd thing for him to say out loud and then not follow through with, which in itself is quite concerning. It feels like a shot in the leg, not just for Zaluzhnyi, but for the majority of Ukrainians who dislike this move.
Personally, I believe that Zelenskyy should be focusing on replacing individuals like Ermak and Arahamia, who are known to be corrupted figures within his own party. It’s frustrating to see that Zelenskyy seems to have a problem with Zaluzhnyi speaking his mind without any PR agenda.… Continue reading
As a Ukrainian, the news of Putin’s plan to integrate the occupied regions into Russia by 2030 is extremely bleak. It suggests that the war will continue for another 6-10 years, which is beyond grim. I can’t help but wonder if this plan will be as successful as the “special military operation” he authorized two years ago.
Russia has always portrayed itself as a powerful and impressive nation, with grand military parades and displays of new generation weapons. However, what we have witnessed is a display of embarrassing incompetence. Oligarchs committing suicide, generals being killed, and a failed “special operation” resulting in the deaths of almost 200,000 Russian soldiers.… Continue reading
Senator Josh Hawley, a prominent Republican figure, recently made a shocking admission about the stalling of the Border/Ukraine bill. According to various sources, Hawley revealed that this deliberate obstruction is solely aimed at making President Biden look bad. This revelation is deeply disheartening and highlights the extent to which some politicians prioritize personal gain over the well-being of the country and its citizens.
It is important to note that political games like these have real and devastating consequences. They cause suffering among the people who are directly impacted by these policy decisions. In the case of stalling the Border/Ukraine bill, it means leaving the border situation unresolved and potentially putting national security at risk.… Continue reading
As a Ukrainian citizen, the recent news of Ukraine informing the U.S. about the decision to fire top general Zaluzhny has left me feeling concerned and confused. Zaluzhny has been a competent general, doing an exceptional job in holding off the Russian attacks. It would be difficult to replace him with someone as skilled and experienced.
I can’t help but wonder if President Zelensky is feeling the pressure to make advances and break the stalemate in the ongoing conflict with Russia. Is he blaming Zaluzhny for the lack of progress? It’s disappointing to hear that such a capable general is being let go, especially when he has been instrumental in keeping the front functioning.… Continue reading
Major Russian Oil Refinery in Volgograd Region Falls Victim to a Drone Attack
It’s a scene straight out of a dystopian novel – a major Russian oil refinery in the Volgograd region falls victim to a drone attack. The images of the refinery engulfed in flames are both awe-inspiring and terrifying. As I watch the news unfold, a mix of emotions courses through me.
On one hand, there is a sense of exhilaration. The Ukrainian drones have managed to penetrate deep into Russian territory, striking at the heart of the country’s oil production. It’s a bold move, a direct challenge to the Russian war machine.… Continue reading
Russia Has Massed 500 Tanks For An Attack On Kupyansk. Thousands Of Ukrainian Drones Await Them.
As I read this article about the escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine, my heart sinks. It’s difficult to comprehend the gravity of the situation and the potential devastation that lies ahead. The fact that Russia has massed 500 tanks for an attack on Kupyansk is deeply concerning. These tanks are formidable weapons of destruction, capable of causing immense damage and loss of life.
I can’t help but feel a sense of sorrow for the brave Ukrainian soldiers who will have to stand against such a force.… Continue reading
EU leaders have approved a €50 billion deal for Ukraine after Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán lifted his veto. This is a significant development in supporting Ukraine during a critical moment. However, it raises questions about the negotiations and potential backroom deals that may have taken place. It is important to consider if the threat of stripping EU funding was enough to make Orbán back down.
Orbán has a history of exploiting the voting rule in the past, giving him significant power to sabotage deals. It would be beneficial if the press did not compliment him for these actions, as it only encourages such behavior.… Continue reading
The recent statement by French President Emmanuel Macron, advocating for the European Union (EU) to defend Ukraine even if the US reduces its military support, has sparked an important conversation about the EU’s role in international security. Macron’s bold stance reflects the need for the EU to step up its game and take greater responsibility for its own defense.
For far too long, the EU has relied on the US security umbrella, and this approach is no longer sustainable. As the world changes, it’s high time for the EU to realize that it can’t always play second fiddle in its own backyard.… Continue reading
Hungary far-right would lay claim to western Ukraine should it lose the war. This alarming statement has sparked discussions and brought to light the dangers of extremist ideologies within Hungary’s political landscape. While it is important to approach this topic with a fair and unbiased perspective, it is equally crucial to address the potential consequences and implications of such a claim.
First and foremost, we must acknowledge that the notion of Hungary laying claim to western Ukraine is not only unfounded but also dangerous. Not only would this action result in Hungary being expelled from NATO and the European Union, it would also leave the country vulnerable to Russian influence.… Continue reading
