Russia warns Japan on missile transfer to Ukraine, threatens ties. As a Russian, I can’t help but shake my head at the petty threats coming from Putin towards Japan. The audacity of Russia to think they can dictate who Japan can share their missile technology with is laughable. Japan, with its powerful defense pact with the US, is not one to cower at empty threats. The alliance between Japan and the US is formidable, with an attack on one country considered an attack on the other, making any threats against Japan a direct challenge to the US as well.
