Rubio defends Trump’s claim of presidential immunity as raising a ‘legitimate issue’
When it comes to the concept of presidential immunity, Senator Rubio’s recent comments defending Trump’s claim raise some legitimate concerns that need to be addressed. The idea that the sitting President should have the power to do whatever they please without consequences is not only dangerous but goes against the very principles of checks and balances that our democracy is built upon.
