During a visit to flood-affected Valencia, Spain’s King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were pelted with mud and other objects by protesters, who also hurled abuse at them. The Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, was similarly targeted and hastily evacuated. The anger stems from a view that authorities offered inadequate warning and insufficient support during the floods, which resulted in the death of over 200 people. While the royal couple attempted to engage with the protesters, their planned visit to another affected town, Chiva, was postponed. King Felipe later expressed understanding of the protestors’ anger and frustration.

A new royal biography by Robert Hardman has claimed that King Charles has decided to stop funding the security costs and personal allowance of his brother Prince Andrew. These costs together reportedly amount to several million pounds each year. The Prince’s personal lease on his residence, the Royal Lodge in Windsor, lasts until 2078, meaning that if he covers his own expenses, he can continue living there. The alleged termination of financial support comes in the wake of two films released by Netflix and Amazon this year about the prince’s association with US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew stepped down from his royal duties following his controversial interview with BBC Newsnight about his Epstein connections in 2019.

I couldn’t help but be taken aback by the recent revelation that Queen Elizabeth had some not-so-flattering remarks about former President Donald Trump and his relationship with Melania. It’s no secret that the media often turns a blind eye to their unconventional marriage, with Melania’s absence from many events raising eyebrows. As a lifelong observer of political figures, it’s truly baffling how Trump managed to evade scrutiny for his lack of transparency about his personal life, especially in the cutthroat world of politics.
The Queen, with her decades of diplomatic experience and impeccable manners, must have found Trump’s boorish behavior quite jarring.… Continue reading

As I delve into the swirling controversy surrounding the latest photo of Kate Middleton and her children, I can’t help but feel a sense of unease creeping in. The Associated Press has raised concerns about potential manipulation in the image, specifically citing an “inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand.” In a world where we are bombarded with carefully curated and edited images on social media, it’s easy to question the authenticity of what we see.
Initially, I was a bystander to the speculation and conspiracy theories that seemed to surround Kate’s recent absence from the public eye. But now, with this latest photo causing a stir, I can’t help but be drawn into the intrigue.… Continue reading

King Charles III diagnosed with cancer, Buckingham Palace says
It’s devastating news to hear that King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer. After waiting his whole life to become king, it seems that his body is now trying to betray him. As a urologist, my professional opinion leads me to believe that it may be bladder cancer. However, without knowing the specific details of his pathology, it’s hard to determine his prognosis.
Fortunately, the mention of “routine treatments” gives me hope that his prognosis is favorable. Around 70% of bladder tumors can be managed without major surgery or chemotherapy. So, if this is indeed the type of cancer he has, then there may be a good chance of a positive outcome.… Continue reading
