It seems the Trump administration has reportedly dropped a significant $1.8 billion fund, initially framed as a “weaponization” fund, following a considerable backlash from within Republican ranks. This sudden reversal suggests that the proposal, however it was intended, proved too controversial even for those typically aligned with the administration.
