As I read about the California socialite, Rebecca Grossman, who was sentenced to 15 years to life for the hit-and-run deaths of two young brothers, my heart aches with a mix of anger and sorrow. The sheer negligence and recklessness displayed in her actions on that fateful day cannot be understated. Driving at over 80 mph in a 45 mph zone, hitting the brakes only moments before striking the young boys, and then fleeing the scene, leaving devastation in her wake – these are the actions of a callous and despicable individual.

Rebecca Grossman found guilty of murder in Westlake Village crash that killed 2 young brothers

flash yellow then solid yellow, then red, and then pedestrians have the right of way. Must be tough making that left turn on a red light from Agoura onto Lakeview and looking straight ahead, and though there’s no excuse and this should be entirely her fault, I would hope the city makes some changes to make that crosswalk intersection more clearly visible to drivers. I hope that her client list from their charity starts to dwindle, and that all that money they’ve been hoarding and funneling offshore fire back on them tenfold. This should have made the news here, I’ve never heard of Scott Erickson, Grossman’s friend, even in the baseball hall of fame.… Continue reading
