Texas Governor Defies Supreme Court Ruling, Continues to Fortify Border with Razor Wire
I am shocked and deeply concerned by Governor Abbott’s decision to defy a Supreme Court ruling and continue fortifying the Texas border with razor wire. It is a blatant disregard for the rule of law, and it sets a dangerous precedent for our democracy.
Abbott’s statement on social media, where he proudly proclaims that the Texas National Guard is “holding the line,” is nothing more than a political stunt that is costing billions of dollars to Texas taxpayers.
