Rapper Foolio killed in Tampa shooting
Being in the midst of the modern rap scene, the news of the shooting that claimed the life of Rapper Foolio in Tampa doesn’t come as a shock to me. His controversial lyrics and his association with violence were not new to those who followed his career. In fact, it seemed almost inevitable that a tragic incident such as this would occur. Foolio’s music often revolved around glorifying violence and boasting about the people he claimed to have killed, which only served to escalate tensions within the rap community.
