As I sit back and contemplate the sheer brilliance of the recent events surrounding Trump being forced to confront mean memes about himself shared by prospective jurors, I can’t help but feel a sense of vindication. This man, who has been shielded by his own narcissism and sycophantic team for far too long, is finally being exposed to the harsh reality of public opinion. The fact that he may have genuinely believed that everyone adored him is both laughable and utterly astonishing.

Donald Trump stung as new poll shows how unpopular he is

The revelation that Donald Trump’s favorability ratings are plummeting in the eyes of the public comes as no surprise to many of us who have been paying attention to his actions over the past four years. It is alarming, however, that despite the disastrous consequences of his presidency, there are still individuals who view him favorably. The fact that 29 percent of surveyed individuals have a positive view of him is concerning, to say the least.

Poll: 77% of Russians support war in Ukraine

As a Russian living abroad, it is disheartening to read that 77% of my fellow countrymen support the war in Ukraine. It is difficult for me to comprehend how so many Russians can back a war that seems senseless and destructive. It reminds me of my father’s stories about how everyone in Spain supported Franco’s dictatorship until his death, and then suddenly they were all anti-Franco. It seems that blind support for political actions runs deep in certain societies.
