Boar’s Head plants nationwide now part of “law enforcement” investigation, USDA says
I can’t believe it. Boar’s Head, the brand that many of us trusted for being the gold standard in processed meats, is now embroiled in a nationwide “law enforcement” investigation by the USDA. The reports coming out about the conditions in their plants are absolutely disturbing. Mold, insects, dripping water, meat, and fat residue caking the walls, floors, and equipment for years on end. This is not only unappetizing but extremely dangerous.
I used to be one of those consumers who believed that the Boar’s Head brand meant quality. I would choose their products over competitors because of that perceived higher standard.… Continue reading
