As I scrolled through the news and came across the report of an extremist Islamist group infiltrating Australia’s pro-Palestine movement, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of disappointment and concern. The sight of individuals waving flags associated with Hezbollah and Hamas during a protest undoubtedly tarnished the credibility of the movement in my eyes. It raised questions in my mind about the true intentions and affiliations of some participants within the pro-Palestine community.
