I can’t help but feel a sense of dread when I hear AOC express her concerns about the possibility of being thrown in jail if Trump wins in 2024. It’s a chilling thought, considering the lengths to which Trump has gone to assert his power and control. The parallels drawn to dictatorial regimes in history, like Saddam Hussein’s ruthless tactics, are harrowing to imagine playing out in our own country.
