Hillary Clinton has recently released new merchandise with the slogan “She Was Right” following the Trump verdict. As someone who voted for her in the past, it’s hard not to agree with the sentiment behind this new line of products. In hindsight, it’s clear that she was right about many things, especially when it came to calling out the deplorable behavior and beliefs of a significant portion of Trump’s supporters.
While I appreciate her trolling of Trump and his followers, I can’t help but feel conflicted about the idea of politicians selling merchandise as if they were celebrities.
