Zelenskyy: Putin Exploiting Trump’s Ignorance to End Isolation
In a Sky News interview, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is attempting to escape “political isolation” by deceiving former US President Donald Trump. Zelenskyy believes the Alaska summit provided Putin with a platform for de-isolation without sufficient consequences for his actions. Zelenskyy also emphasized the need for stronger measures, including further and quicker sanctions, as Putin understands the language of force rather than dialogue. He urged European and US countries to intensify their actions to compel Putin to cease the war.
