Trump’s recent call for various states to deploy their guards to Texas has sparked controversy and concern among many. As an outsider observing the situation, I can’t help but feel that Trump is fomenting a civil war. The idea of using armed groups to fight against government forces is deeply troubling and goes against the principles of democracy and peace.
