Hunter Trampled By Elephants After Antelope Hunt Gone Wrong
Californian vineyard owner Ernie Dosio, 75, was killed by a herd of five female elephants while hunting for small antelope in Gabon. Dosio, an experienced big-game hunter with a vast trophy collection, was ambushed in the dense rainforest. The elephants, startled by the presence of Dosio and his professional hunter, charged the pair, resulting in Dosio’s fatal trampling.
