It’s truly alarming to hear that every human placenta tested in a recent study was found to contain microplastics. The fact that we are surrounded by these tiny plastic particles, from plastic toys to dish sponges and even the very air we breathe, is deeply concerning. It’s disheartening to think about how pervasive plastic has become in our daily lives, from the building materials in our homes to the packaging on our food and products. The convenience of plastic has come at a great cost to our health and the health of the planet.
