It’s truly alarming to hear that every human placenta tested in a recent study was found to contain microplastics. The fact that we are surrounded by these tiny plastic particles, from plastic toys to dish sponges and even the very air we breathe, is deeply concerning. It’s disheartening to think about how pervasive plastic has become in our daily lives, from the building materials in our homes to the packaging on our food and products. ‘They lied’: plastics producers deceived public about recycling, report reveals

As I delve into the harsh reality that plastics producers have deceived the public about recycling, I can’t help but feel a mix of outrage and disappointment. Growing up, we were taught that using plastic was a way to save trees and reduce waste. But little did we know, behind the scenes, a deceitful narrative was being spun by corporations solely for profit.
