Over the weekend, anti-President Donald Trump messages were broadcast from hacked crosswalk audio signals in Denver, specifically along East Colfax Avenue. The devices, recently powered on with factory default passwords, delivered vulgar and accusatory messages to pedestrians, sparking surprise and concern. City officials have since changed the passwords at the affected intersections and do not anticipate further incidents. The Denver Police Department is currently investigating the matter.

Fresno Woman in Wheelchair Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Dangerous Road

Tragically, a woman in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a car while crossing Clovis Avenue in southeast Fresno on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 5:30 pm, prompting police to close the road for several hours during their investigation. The woman was transported to Community Regional Medical Center where she sadly passed away. The driver involved has not yet been located, and police are urging anyone with information to contact them.

Must be tough making that left turn on a red light from Agoura onto Lakeview and looking straight ahead, and though there’s no excuse and this should be entirely her fault, I would hope the city makes some changes to make that crosswalk intersection more clearly visible to drivers. I hope that her client list from their charity starts to dwindle, and that all that money they’ve been hoarding and funneling offshore fire back on them tenfold.
