Zelenskyy Demands 200,000 Allied Troops for Ukraine Peace Deal

Addressing the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Zelenskyy emphasized the need for a substantial, at least 200,000-strong, multinational peacekeeping force to secure any Ukraine-Russia peace agreement. He underscored the urgency of European self-reliance in defense, citing Russia’s mobilization of hundreds of thousands of troops and the involvement of North Korean soldiers in the conflict. Zelenskyy also stressed that NATO membership is the best guarantee for a lasting ceasefire, despite opposition from some Western nations.
