As a parent, the thought of leaving my child alone, let alone for 10 days, is unimaginable. The recent case of the Ohio mom who left her 16-month-old toddler alone while she went on vacation has undoubtedly shocked and saddened many. The details revealed in this case are truly disturbing. The fact that the poor child was left without food or water, resulting in a horrendous death, is beyond comprehension.
