I am not a father, but I am a godfather to two wonderful children. Hearing about the tragic case of Harmony Montgomery and her father fills me with deep sadness and outrage. The fact that a man with such an extensive criminal history, including violence, was granted full custody of a child with unique care needs is incomprehensible. I am deeply disturbed and shaken to my core after reading the horrific news about a man who was jailed for life after breaking his baby son’s neck in Leicester. It is truly unimaginable and heartbreaking to think about the pain and suffering that poor little baby, Ollie, endured in his short life. The fact that he lived for 8 days in agony with 40 bone fractures, including a fractured skull and 23 rib fractures, is beyond comprehension.
