The three-day operation, which began November 5th, focused on identifying individuals seeking to purchase sex from a 17-year-old girl and involved multiple local police departments. Suspects, ranging in age from 18 to 49, included a Metro Transit bus driver, an employee of the Brown County Historical Society, and a staff member of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Police are considering referring some of the cases to federal prosecutors, while authorities are discussing measures to restrict online platforms used by offenders.
