When I read about Miss Teen USA runner-up Caitlin Upton being shamed by JD Vance for a cruel video post, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of anger and frustration. It is utterly despicable for someone to mock and belittle another individual, especially when that person has gone through public humiliation and online mockery in the past. The fact that JD Vance, in his infinite stupidity, thought it was acceptable to joke about Upton’s past struggles is a clear reflection of his lack of empathy and basic decency.

Gus Walz broke the internet with his tearful love for his dad. Then the bullying began

As a parent, witnessing the heartwarming moment when Gus Walz tearfully expressed his love and pride for his father was truly touching. It is a beautiful thing to see a child so openly and emotionally supportive of a parent’s accomplishments. However, what followed after Gus broke the internet with his heartfelt display of affection was truly disheartening. The fact that adults, particularly well-known figures, resorted to mocking and belittling this young boy for simply expressing his love is beyond comprehension.
