Fraternity Expels Man Who Made Monkey Noises at Black Ole Miss Protester
As I sat down to read through the news updates of the day, my attention was immediately drawn to the headline that announced the expulsion of a man from his fraternity for making monkey noises at a Black protester at Ole Miss. Instantly, my mind began to reflect on the current state of our society and the deep-rooted racism that continues to rear its ugly head, even in places that are meant to foster growth and acceptance.
