Older voters are abandoning Donald Trump, and it’s about time. As someone who has witnessed the detrimental impact of Trump’s policies and divisive rhetoric firsthand, I can understand why the tide is turning against him. The recent Marist poll in Pennsylvania, showing a decline in support among voters over the age of 45, is a clear indication that older Americans are waking up to the reality of Trump’s failed leadership.
The fact that Trump is losing ground among older voters, a demographic that has traditionally been more conservative, speaks volumes about the disillusionment and frustration that many Americans are feeling. The mishandling of the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to countless unnecessary deaths among the elderly, must have been a wake-up call for many older voters.… Continue reading
