Man Arrested for Assault, Public Indecency at Cedar Point
A man, identified as Marquez Williams, was arrested following a disturbing assault at Cedar Point on May 25. Surveillance footage captured Williams approaching a transgender woman from behind on the midway and pulling down her clothing, exposing her private parts to a crowd that included children. The victim’s friend witnessed the incident and immediately pursued the suspect, alerting park security. Williams was apprehended in the parking lot after a chase involving law enforcement, who deployed a taser to subdue him. He now faces charges including public indecency, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing official business.
